1) Please set up as quietly as possible so we don't drive out the early crowd. Part of our success is how we seemlessly move into our night mode with atmosphere and good house music. You don't need to blast or pound away endlessly over the house music to get your sound right. You can limber up your fingers and lips in silence.
2) I provide domestic drafts, soft drinks. I also provide employee prices on all our other fine products. In return I would appreciate that you keep the stage relatively clean by:
3) Please find a decent home for your gum. Aside from the carpet and shelves, I have found wads on the sculptures and my freakin' drum kit!. Is this asking a lot?
4) DO NOT use tape or staples on any painted wood surfaces.
5) Please dipose of your set lists, broken strings (these tear up our vacuums and short out our electrical outlets) and other personal items yourself.
6) Remove all duct tape you brought in.
7) In extreme hot and cold weather, please keep the glass doors closed as much as possible during load-in. The club can become very drafty and we'd like to keep our customers as comfortable as possible. Our people will help you if necessary. (Please don't open the doors and then go get your car... as bands have done in the past).
8) Just because Ralph makes the rules (and sometimes does sound and lights), please don't be afraid to ask for specific sound, lights, and/or monitor mixes before or during the performance.
9) Please do not unplug the monitors. If you are not happy with your monitors, please tell the sound man and work with him to solve the problem. Unplugging the monitors is not solving the problem and Ralph will not hire bands back to the club who are disrespectful.
